Open it at /bid, or choose Auto-bid on an eBay auction in Markets. You authorize Omni as your purchase agent: to escrow your USDC, bid up to your maximum, and on a win deliver the ownership NFT to your delivery address.

Placing a bid

  1. Choose the lot
Paste an eBay link or item number. It has to be a live auction, located in the United States, with more than a minute left.
  2. Set your maximum
It has to cover the current bid. You choose the price; Omni does not give bidding advice.
  3. Set your addresses
The delivery address receives the NFT. The refund address receives USDC back. They can be the same wallet.
  4. Accept the terms
The terms cover the agency, the fee, and delivery. You must be 18 or older.
  5. Sign the deposit
Your maximum, plus the fee, plus the seller’s shipping if any. Nothing moves until you approve it.
  6. Escrow is placed
Once the deposit confirms, Omni places it in escrow with Collector Crypt. The bidding agent bids in the final seconds, up to your maximum.

One active bid per item. A second bid on the same auction is refused until the first one finishes or is cancelled. An unfunded bid can be cancelled from Dashboard.

If you win

The card is shipped to Collector Crypt, authenticated, and vaulted. Its NFT is then forwarded to your delivery address. Omni keeps the success fee. If you won below your maximum, the unused USDC is returned to your refund address once Collector Crypt releases it.

Omni does not ship the physical card. Redeeming or shipping it out of the vault is done through the NFT.

If you lose

No fee is kept. Collector Crypt sends the escrowed USDC back, and Omni then returns your full deposit to your refund address. The refund is released only when that USDC is seen arriving on Solana from the escrow account it was placed in. That can take up to one business day.

The same full refund applies when the auction ends before the escrow is placed, or when another escrow already covers the item at or above your maximum. In those cases the deposit never left Omni’s escrow wallet, so there is nothing to wait for.

Every step, with its Solana transaction, is on the bid’s detail view in Dashboard. The deposit maths is on Fees.
