Risks
Read this before you fund anything. The terms you accept before a bid or an auto-buy are the agreement; these pages describe how the product behaves.
Orders
- You can lose the auction
- No fee is kept and the deposit comes back in full, after Collector Crypt returns the escrow. That can take up to one business day. See Escrow and refunds.
- The bid can fail to land
- The bidding agent bids in the final seconds. If the escrow was never placed, the deposit never left Omni's escrow and comes back right away.
- A limit can miss
- A listing can sell before Omni confirms the live ask. The limit stays armed, and Omni never pays more than your price.
- Refunds can be held
- If the chain doesn't add up, for example a short return from Collector Crypt, the refund waits for review instead of going out automatically.
Gacha
- A gacha can return less than it costs
- Expected value is an average over many opens. A single gacha can return far less than its price.
- Gaps are not odds
- A tier that hasn't hit in a while is not more likely on the next pull.
- Buyback expires
- Collector Crypt's buyback is open for 72 hours from the pull.
- An unopened pack is refunded
- If a paid pack is still unopened after 2 hours, Collector Crypt refunds the USDC.
Custody and delivery
- Addresses are final
- A wrong delivery or refund address is a permanent loss. Solana transfers cannot be reversed.
- You receive an NFT
- The physical card stays in the vault. Omni does not ship it, insure transit to you, or redeem it for you.
- Escrow is an agent, not a contract
- Your USDC sits in an operator wallet until the order settles. You cannot withdraw it yourself.
Markets and rules
- Prices are third-party
- Asks, Alt.xyz Value, and last sales come from venues and Alt.xyz. They can be stale or wrong.
- Rules can change
- eBay, Collector Crypt, and the law on digital assets can change, and a change can delay a bid, a vault, or a refund.
- Damaged or missing cards
- Omni may pursue the marketplace's buyer-protection process for you. That process belongs to the marketplace.
- You must be able to contract
- Auto-bid requires that you are 18 or older, control the wallet you sign with, and are allowed to bid where you are.
