Glossary
The terms Omni uses, in one place.
Prices
- Ask
- The price a listing is offered at right now.
- Alt.xyz Value
- Alt.xyz's estimate of a card's value at a given grader and grade.
- Last sale
- The most recent recorded sale of the same card at the same grader and grade.
- Reference
- The lower of the last sale and Alt.xyz Value. Below Market is measured against it.
- Below Market
- An ask at least 3% under its reference.
- Insured value
- The value a vault or venue insures a slab for. Buybacks are paid on it.
- Omni500
- A board of 500 cards ranked by market cap. Cap is each PSA grade's population times that grade's latest sale, added together.
- Omni500 ETF
- The cap-weighted index of the Omni500. The level starts at 100 and moves with card prices. The cards in it update every day. A population update or a change in which cards are on the board does not move the level.
Cards
- Slab
- A graded card sealed in its grader's case.
- P-10 / BL
- CGC Pristine 10 and BGS Black Label, the grades above a regular 10.
- Card identity
- The single Alt.xyz record for one print of one card. Limits only match listings that resolve to it.
- Ownership NFT
- A Solana token that represents a vaulted slab. Holding it is owning the card; redeeming it releases the slab.
Orders
- Limit
- Your price for an exact card and grade.
- Hit
- A listing at or under a limit's price.
- Auto-buy
- A funded limit that Omni buys on Collector Crypt.
- Auto-bid
- An escrowed maximum the bidding agent bids on a US eBay auction.
- Bidding agent
- The service that places the bid in the auction's final seconds, up to your maximum.
- Escrow
- Omni's operator wallet that holds deposits for open orders.
- Refund address
- Where USDC comes back to.
- Delivery address
- Where the ownership NFT goes.
Gacha
- Machine
- A gacha with a fixed price, a prize pool, and published odds per tier.
- Tier
- Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic.
- EV
- Expected value: the average return per gacha over many opens.
- Buyback
- The venue's offer to take a pull back, as a share of its insured value.
- Turbo
- Sells each pull back automatically at the buyback rate as it is drawn.
- Unopened pack
- A pack whose USDC has already been paid and whose card has not been revealed. After 2 hours, Collector Crypt refunds it.
- Gap
- Pulls since a tier last hit. It describes history; it does not change the odds.
- VRF
- Verifiable random function: on-chain randomness used to draw each card.
